Odds on a Line Bet.
If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is allowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The additional bet is called odds bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow making odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Remember that you can make an odds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. In the case of a win take all the money and chips off the table. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. The player should always remember that he has a right to make an odds bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. To place an odds bet you have to click on the area behind the pass line area. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. If the point number is 4 or 10 you get paid 2:1. If the point number is 5 or 9 you get paid 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Traditionally the bet odds are equal to the line bets. Some casinos allow to make odds bets which are higher than line bets.

Dice game, most popular in American gambling houses. Any number may
play. Each person in turn may, as the shooter, cast two matched dice
in attempting to roll a winning combination.
Before his first throw the shooter puts up a stake, and the other players
fade it, i.e., bet against the shooter up to the amount of the stake.
The shooter must withdraw any part of his stake that is not faded. If
he wins, he may continue to shoot and bet again, as much or as little
as he wants; or he may give up the dice. If the shooter loses, the other
players take away double the amount they faded. The other players also
may bet among themselves as to whether the shooter will win or lose in
the next series of throws or whether certain numbers or combinations
will appear. In some games, such as bank craps , players may bet only
against the house.
Craps
The first time you load up Craps into your casino software you'll wonder what on
earth's going on! The good news is that the rules of craps are very simple.
It's fast paced and exciting and it conjures up mental images of Las Vegas.
It's the huge range of bets that puts newcomers off playing Craps but you only
need to know the basics, and which bets to avoid.
The Rules:
The shooter (dice thrower) steps up to the table and rolls two dice.
If the total of the scores on the dice is 7 or 11 then he wins immediately.
If the total of the scores on the dice is 2, 3 or 12 then he loses immediately.
(2, 3, or 12 is known as Craps)
If the total of the scores on the dice is any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10)
then this number becomes "Point". A white puck is placed above the
point number on the craps table to make the game easier to follow. The game is

The shooter then continues to roll the dice, for as long as it takes, until he
either scores the point number or 7.
If he scores point, he wins.
If he scores 7, he loses.
A winning shooter stays at the table and starts again, a losing shooter hands
the dice to the next player, and the game starts
again.
Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. Only after placing a bet the player rolls the dice, which is called the "comeout roll". If the total rolled is 7 or 11 it is called a ‘pass’. Pass line bets win if a pass is made. If the total rolled is 2,3,12 it is called ‘craps’. Don’t pass line bets win in the case of craps. Don't pass line bets do not win if the "craps" number is a 12 in Las Vegas or a 2 in Reno and Tahoe. If the total is any other number this number is called a place number or a point number. In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. If the total you roll is 7, you are said to roll out. If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled.
There are several bets in Craps.
Line bets.
If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out). If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If the point is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you roll the same number without rolling 7 you win. If you seven out before rolling the point number again you lose. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet.
The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.

| The Don't Pass Bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. There is a push if the shooter rolls 12. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11. The Don't Pass bet pays 1 to 1 odds. Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is a 5 or a 9 the payout is 3:1. If you have a 6 or a 8 the payout is 6:5. The Don't Come Bet The Don't Come bet is the opposite of the Come Bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. Click on the Don't Come button to place a Don't Come Bet. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets. C & E Bet The C bet is exactly the same as a bet on any craps. The E bet is the same as a bet on eleven. This is just another place to make those bets. |

A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. Come bet can be made by clicking on the Come area of the table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. If the point number is 4 or 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5.
Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay even money. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
