Think about it. When you toss a coin fairly you will get an even number of heads and tails in the long run. Every now and then you will get a run of four or five heads or tails, just by chance. After all, every time you toss there is a 50:50 chance of a head or tail coming down – and this doesn’t change depending on what the tosses before have been. If runs of 4 or 5 heads happen, it means that runs of 10 or even 20 can and will happen. Not very often at all, but they will happen. winning and losing streaks are what you can expect occasionally, just by chance. They do not need to be explained by ESP, magic or superior betting skill. There are many methods used to beat the game of online craps but not a single one is capable of doing this in the long run. However your long run craps strategy will help improve your play, hence reducing the overall exposure to the house edge making it possible for your craps strategy to work. Maybe they'll work for you or may be they won't - it's gambling after all. Only several of these methods are worth mentioning. The correct payoff for odds bets varies from point number to point number, depending on the odds of a 7 being rolled before a particular point is repeated. The payoff formula is the same whether you take single odds, double odds, or more. Correct odds payoffs are as follows: Points 4 and 10 pay 2-to-1 Points 5 and 9 pay 3-to-2 Points 6 and 8 pay 6-to-5 As an example, suppose you bet $1.00 on the pass line and establish a point of 4 in a casino that offers double odds. You now have the option of taking the adds for an additional $2.00. (You can wager a lesser amount or choose not to take any odds at all) Many players who make pass line bets can't afford to take any odds or full odds behind the bet once the number is established. You can place the odds if the person allows you. The casino has no edge on the odds and in the long run your expectation is to break even. That could be a lot of casino fun with no expected cost! One caveat: Make sure the person behind whose bet you're taking odds fully understands what it is you are doing. You don't want to win a bet only to have the man or woman scoop it up and keep it. Craps is one of the more intimidating games at the casino for a beginner as there are lots of different betting options available to the player and the game is quite fast paced there is however no need to be intimidated as once you know the rules the game of craps can offer some of the best odds in the casino. The game of craps is played with two ordinary dice that are thrown the length of the table and must bounce off the far wall. The wins and losses depend upon the value of the dice when they land. Each player is given a turn to throw the dice or become the shooter with the dice going clock-wise around the table. The shooter makes their first roll which is called a come out roll the shooter then keeps throwing the dice until he fails to make a winning throw known as 'not making point' the dice are then passed on to the new shooter and a new game begins.
Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. Players can make either a pass line or don’t pass line bet. Rolling the dice is called a ‘comeout roll’. If the player rolls 7 or 11 he is said to have made a pass. In the case of a pass pass line bets win and don’t pass line bets lose. If the total rolled is 2,3,12 it is called ‘craps’. In the case of “craps” pass line bets lose and don’t pass line bets win. 12 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Las Vegas and 2 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Tahoe. If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. ’Sevening out’ is the same as rolling a 7. If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled.
There are several bets in Craps. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. You get paid 2:1 if you win with the point 4 or 10. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay even money. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
