Odds on a Line Bet.
If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is allowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The additional bet is called odds bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow making odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Remember that you can make an odds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. Don’t forget to take your money or chips off the table if you win. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. The player should always remember that he has a right to make an odds bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. To place an odds bet you have to click on the area behind the pass line area. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. If the point number is 4 or 10 you get paid 2:1. If the point number is 5 or 9 you get paid 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Traditionally the bet odds are equal to the line bets. Some casinos allow to make odds bets which are higher than line bets.

Many players who make pass line bets can't afford
to take any odds or full odds behind the bet once the number is
established. You can place the odds if the person allows you. The casino
has no edge on the odds and in the long run your expectation is to break
even. That could be a lot of casino fun with no expected cost! One caveat:
Make sure the person behind whose bet you're taking odds fully understands
what it is you are doing. You don't want to win a bet only to have the man
or woman scoop it up and keep it.

The game of Craps revolves around dice. Wagers are made upon the result of a single roll, or a series of rolls, of a pair of dice. Craps is a game of probabilities and odds, so any discussion of Craps will benefit by a brief explanation of the probabilities involved.
Since the game uses two dice, a shooter (the person rolling the dice) can roll any number between 2 and 12. It is important to understand that some numbers are more likely to appear than others on a single roll of the dice.
Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. Either a pass line or a don’t pass line can be made. Only after placing a bet the player rolls the dice, which is called the "comeout roll". If the total rolled is 7 or 11 it is called a ‘pass’. In the case of a pass pass line bets win and don’t pass line bets lose. If the player rolls 2,3,12 it is called “craps”. In the case of “craps” pass line bets lose and don’t pass line bets win. 12 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Las Vegas and 2 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Tahoe. The total of 4,5,6,8,9,10 is called a place number or a point. In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. ’Sevening out’ is the same as rolling a 7. If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled.
One Roll Bets are made by clicking on the corresponding area of the Betting Layout. There are seven One Roll bets. The kind of a bet determines the payout. Any Seven pays 4 to 1. Any Craps (2, 3 and 12) pays 7 to 1. Eleven (YO) and 3 pay 15 to 1. Hi-Lo (2 and 12) pays 30 to 1. Horn Bet (2, 3, 11 and 12) pays 7 to 1 (2 or 12) or 3 to 1 (3 or 11).
The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.

Line bets.
If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out). If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If the point is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you roll the same number without rolling 7 you win. If you seven out before rolling the point number again you lose. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet.

A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. Come bet can be made by clicking on the Come area of the table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. You get paid 2:1 if you win with the point 4 or 10. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5.
Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. In the case of a win with Big 6 or 8 you get paid 1:1. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
