The correct payoff for odds bets varies from point number to point number, depending on the odds of a 7 being rolled before a particular point is repeated. The payoff formula is the same whether you take single odds, double odds, or more. Correct odds payoffs are as follows: Points 4 and 10 pay 2-to-1 Points 5 and 9 pay 3-to-2 Points 6 and 8 pay 6-to-5 As an example, suppose you bet $1.00 on the pass line and establish a point of 4 in a casino that offers double odds. You now have the option of taking the adds for an additional $2.00. (You can wager a lesser amount or choose not to take any odds at all) To bet with the shooter, you must place your bet in an area marked ""Pass Line", before the new shooter rolls the dice. The so-called "Pass Line" is a strip on the table layout marked by two lines roughly two inches wide and it rims the entire table layout across from the Box Man. To bet against the shooter, you must place your bet in an area marked "Don’t Pass". This area is a strip on the table layout and it rims the table directly above the "Pass Line".No matter what stage the game is in, whether on the "Come Out" roll, or in progress, you can jump in immediately and place any bets. The only exception to this is the bet called the "Pass Line" bet with odds", which can be made only on the "Come Out" roll. You can, however, bet with the shooter even while the game is in progress by placing a "Pass Line" bet without odds. Placing your chips halfway over one of the two lines framing the "Pass Line" area does this. Buy Bet Here you can guess that a certain number will be rolled before a 7. It's the same as a place bet but a Buy Bet pays true odds with a 5% charge with a win. Don't Come Bet Opposite of a 'Come Bet'. Odds are the same. Place Bet Here you can bet that a certain number will be rolled before a 7. The odds are 9:5 on a 4 and 10, 7:5 on a 5 and 9 and 7:6 on a 6 and 8 roll. Come Bet Is basically the same as the 'Pass Line Bet' but the bet is made after the shooter gets point. The shooters next roll then becomes this bets come out roll. This bet wins with 7 and 11 and loses with 2, 3 and 12. If another number is rolled then your counter is moved to the corresponding place (see number 10 on diagram) And for you to win a point must be regained before a 7 is rolled. The odds are 1:1. Field Bet Is where you bet if the outcome of the next roll will be a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12. Any other figures lose. 2:1 are the odds for 2 and 12, and the rest are 1:1. 6 & 8 You bet if a 6 or 8 will be rolled before the next 7. Odds are 1:1. Don't Pass Bet A simple bet, that the shooter does NOT win the game. The odds are 1:1. Pass Line Bet The simplest bet; you bet that the shooter wins the game. The odds are 1:1. Odds Bet This strengthens your 'Don't Pass Bet' or your 'Pass Line Bet' but this bet is made after point on the shooters come out roll. The odds are 2:1 for a 4 and 10, 3:" for a 5 and 9 roll and 6:5 for a 6 and 8 roll. Number 10 corresponds with information in the 'Come Bet'. Dice game, most popular in American gambling houses. Any number may play. Each person in turn may, as the shooter, cast two matched dice in attempting to roll a winning combination. Before his first throw the shooter puts up a stake, and the other players fade it, i.e., bet against the shooter up to the amount of the stake. The shooter must withdraw any part of his stake that is not faded. If he wins, he may continue to shoot and bet again, as much or as little as he wants; or he may give up the dice. If the shooter loses, the other players take away double the amount they faded. The other players also may bet among themselves as to whether the shooter will win or lose in the next series of throws or whether certain numbers or combinations will appear. In some games, such as bank craps , players may bet only against the house.
Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. Either a pass line or a don’t pass line can be made. Gamblers call rolling the dice a ‘comeout roll’. If the total rolled is 7 or 11 it is called a ‘pass’. In the case of a pass pass line bets win and don’t pass line bets lose. It is called ‘craps’ if the total rolled is 2,3,12. In the case of “craps” pass line bets lose and don’t pass line bets win. In Las Vegas 12 is not considered to be ‘craps’ and the same thing with 2 in Tahoe. If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. If a 7 is rolled it is called "sevening out". If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled. Hardway Bet is made by clicking on the corresponding area of the craps table. There are four kinds of Hardway Bets. Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force a bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. If you have a hard 4 and 10 the payout is 7:1. If you have a hard 6 and 8 the payout is 9:1. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. Click on the Come area and a come bet will be made. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. You get paid 2:1 if you win with the point 4 or 10. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay even money. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
