Don't Come Bets - Your wager is placed in the "Don't Come" area of the craps table. The reverse of "Come Bets," you lose on the 7 or 11 role. 2 or 3 are winners and 12, once again, is a "Standoff" or "Push" meaning no money is won or lost. If a "Point" number is rolled, you win if a 7 is rolled in subsequent roles before the "Come-Point" is rolled again. Field Bets - This is a "One Role" bet. Your wager is placed in the "Field" area of the craps table. You win even money or 1:1 odds if the role shows a 3,4,9,10,11. Rolling a 2 or 12 pays 2:1. Rolling a 5, 6, 7 or 8 loses the bet. This is known as the cancellation system. Pick a series of numbers, say 1,2,3,4,5. Your first bet is the total of the two numbers on the end, or 6 units in this case. If you lose it, you cancel out the 1 and the 5, add the six to the end of the series and bet the 6 and the 2, for a total of eight units bet. Lose that one and you add the eight to the series, cancel the 2 and the six and bet a total of 11 (3+8) and so on. If you win, you proceed to the inside numbers until they are all cancelled out. Again, a loser, but an insidious one. In this system, you raise your bet one unit if you lose and lower it one unit if you win, which means your winning bets will be higher than your losing bets. It would look like this in practice: 1, lose and go to 2, lose and go to 3, win and drop to 2, lose and go to 3, lose again, bet 4, win, bet 3 ad infinitum. It looks attractive, but the end result is the same: you will eventually lose your money. A ten loss series would have you down 55 units and you would have a helluva time getting out of that hole. The player who's current go it is, is called the shooter. The shooter wins if he rolls a 7 or 11 and this is entitled 'Natural' and he loses if he rolls a 2, 3 or a 12. This is known as 'craps' and it is where the name gets its name from. Rolling any of the remaining numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10) is known as the 'point'. If the shooter achieves point on his first roll, he must roll again, if he achieves point again, then rolls again and rolls a 7 then he wins. If a 7 is rolled after the first point then the shooter loses and the dice are passed on to the next person. The next person will then become the shooter. The Hedge Betting craps strategy consists of placing a bet that almost entirely cancels out another one. Almost any roll will bring you profit (a small one, but a profit) in online craps. You'll lose when the dice roll is not covered by the hedge bet. Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. Rolling the dice is called a ‘comeout roll’. If the total rolled is 7 or 11 it is called a ‘pass’. If the player makes a pass the pass line bets win and don’t pass lines lose. If the player rolls 2,3,12 it is called “craps”. In the case of “craps” pass line bets lose and don’t pass line bets win. 12 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Las Vegas and 2 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Tahoe. If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. ’Sevening out’ is the same as rolling a 7. If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled.
There are several bets in Craps. Lay Bets is based on selecting a number and placing a bet on it. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To make a lay bet you have to click on the corresponding area of the betting layout. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. Come bet can be made by clicking on the Come area of the table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. Point numbers 4 or 10 pay 1:2 in the case of a win. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. In the case of a win with Big 6 or 8 you get paid 1:1. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll.
