Pass Line A pass line bet is a bet placed before the come out roll (i.e. the first roll of the dice in a new craps round) A wager on the pass line wins immediately if the come out roll is 7 or 11 (naturals), and loses if the come out roll is 2, 3, or 12 (craps numbers) If any other number (4,5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) is rolled, that number becomes "the point." If the shooter rolls the point again before rolling a 7, your pass line bet wins. If the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point again, your pass line bet loses. Don't Pass Line A don't pass line bet is essentially the reverse of a pass line bet, and is also placed before the come out roll. If the shooter rolls 3 or 12 on the come out roll, a don't pass line bet wins immediately. If, however, the come out roll is 7 or 11, don't pass line bets lose. If the come out roll is 2, a don't pass line bet is returned to the player in a push. If the come out roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the point. Once the point has been established, don't pass line bets win if the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point again. If the shooter rolls the point again before rolling a 7, don't pass line bets lose. Come A come bet is placed before any roll of the dice, once a point has been established by the come out roll. Come bets win immediately if the shooter's next roll is 7 or 11, and lose if the roll is 2, 3, or 12. If the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes "the come point." If the shooter rolls the come point again before rolling a 7, the come bet wins. Don't Come A don't come bet is essentially the opposite of a come bet. Don't come bets win immediately when the shooter's next roll is 3 or 12, and lose if the roll is 7 or 11. If the shooter rolls a 2, the bet will be returned to the player in a push. After the come point is established, don't come bets win if 7 is rolled and lose if the come point is rolled. Odds An odds bet is a "back up" bet on an original pass line, don't pass line, come, or don't come bet. Gold Club allows odds bets of three times your original bets. Field A field bet is a bet that the next roll of the dice will be either 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12. Big Six and Big Eight A big six bet is a bet that 6 will be rolled before 7. Likewise, a big eight bet is a bet that 8 will be rolled before 7. Place Win A place win bet is a bet that either 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 will be rolled before a seven. Place Lose A place lose bet is a bet that 7 will be rolled before either 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. Buy A buy bet is a bet that either 4, 6, 8, 9, or 10 will be rolled before 7. A vigorish (vig.) of 5% is charged when placing the buy bet. Lay A lay bet is a bet that 7 will be rolled before 4, 6, 8, 9, or 10. A 5% vig. is charged when placing the lay bet. Any 7 An "any 7" bet is a bet that the next roll of the dice will be 7. Any 11 An "any 11" bet is a bet that the next roll of the dice will be 11. Any Craps An "any craps" bet is a bet that the next roll of the dice will be 2, 3, or 12. Horn A horn bet is a bet that the next roll of the dice will be either 2, 3, 11, or 12. Hardway A hardway bet is a bet that the shooter will roll either a 4, 6, 8, or 10 as doubles (2+2, 3+3, 4+4, or 5+5) before rolling a 7. Rolling a number by doubles is said to be rolling the number "the hard way." Craps is played with two dice. Poker chips are used to place bets. The Shooter and the Come Out Roll The player rolling the dice is called the shooter. The "come out" roll is the shooter's first roll. 2 Bets Before the Come Out Roll Pass Line betsThe Pass Line is an even money bet. When you make a "pass line" bet, you are betting the shooter WILL be successful. The results for the "pass line" "come out" rolls are as follows.. No system can overcome a house edge. You can minimize your losses by playing wisely on games of skill, but systems make no difference to games of pure chance like roulette. Those who use systems in roulette are fooling themselves. Don’t believe otherwise. Expect to lose in the long run – if not right from the start! Remember the basic rule – the more you play the more likely you are to lose.
Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. Rolling the dice is called a ‘comeout roll’. It is called a ‘pass’ if the total rolled is either 7 or 11. In the case of a pass pass line bets win and don’t pass line bets lose. If the total rolled is 2,3,12 it is called ‘craps’. In the case of craps don’t pass line bets win, pass line bets lose. 12 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Las Vegas and 2 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Tahoe. If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. ’Sevening out’ is the same as rolling a 7. If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled. The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. Click on the Place area on the Craps table to make a place bet. The place bet is turned off by default during a comeout roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Lay Bets is based on selecting a number and placing a bet on it. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To make a lay bet you have to click on the corresponding area of the betting layout. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. You get paid 2:1 if you win with the point 4 or 10. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay even money. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
