Place Bets - You are betting on single numbers. You win if your selected number from 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 comes up before a role of 7. When betting for a number, your wager is placed in front of the number on the craps table. You can bet that your selected number will not come up before a role of 7. In this case, you wager is placed behind the number on the table.

In Craps, winning or losing depends on a variety of different possible outcomes on any roll of the two dice. The two dice can produce many different number combinations; some can be made several ways, others only one way. For example, two dice can roll the number 6 as follows: 5/1, 4/2, 3/3, 2/4 and 1/5. But the number 2 can only be rolled one way: 1/1.

The correct payoff for odds bets varies from point number to point number, depending on the odds of a 7 being rolled before a particular point is repeated. The payoff formula is the same whether you take single odds, double odds, or more. Correct odds payoffs are as follows: Points 4 and 10 pay 2-to-1 Points 5 and 9 pay 3-to-2 Points 6 and 8 pay 6-to-5 As an example, suppose you bet $1.00 on the pass line and establish a point of 4 in a casino that offers double odds. You now have the option of taking the adds for an additional $2.00. (You can wager a lesser amount or choose not to take any odds at all)

Craps is one of the more intimidating games at the casino for a beginner as there are lots of different betting options available to the player and the game is quite fast paced there is however no need to be intimidated as once you know the rules the game of craps can offer some of the best odds in the casino. The game of craps is played with two ordinary dice that are thrown the length of the table and must bounce off the far wall. The wins and losses depend upon the value of the dice when they land. Each player is given a turn to throw the dice or become the shooter with the dice going clock-wise around the table. Field Bets are popular because seven outcomes will win (2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12) can win, while only four (5, 6, 7 or 8) can lose. Any Seven Bets are made when you bet the next roll will be a 7. Any Craps Bets are made when you bet the next roll will be a 2, 3 or 12. Two Bets are for the next roll to be a 2. Twelve Bets are for the next roll to be a 12. Three Bets are for the next roll to be a 3. Eleven Bets are for the next roll to be an 11. Horn Bet is made when you are betting that a 2, 3, 11 or 12 will show on the next roll. All of these bets are made through the stickman, except for the Field bet which you can place for yourself
