The six and eight can each be made five ways. So if you are up on the don't six, you have six ways to win (on the number seven) and five ways to lose. When the bet is $10 you would win $60, lose $50, and be ahead by $10 after the 11 decisions (on average) If you see a don't player about to take his bet down just say to the fellow: "Don't! Here's 10 bucks, you're even!" He'll take the $10 because that's what his bet is. In this system, you raise your bet one unit if you lose and lower it one unit if you win, which means your winning bets will be higher than your losing bets. It would look like this in practice: 1, lose and go to 2, lose and go to 3, win and drop to 2, lose and go to 3, lose again, bet 4, win, bet 3 ad infinitum. It looks attractive, but the end result is the same: you will eventually lose your money. A ten loss series would have you down 55 units and you would have a helluva time getting out of that hole. There are four types of craps bets: Pass Line Bets These bets are made before the come out roll and on the shooter. To make this wager you place your chips anywhere within the Pass Line area of the layout Don't Pass Bets These bets are made before the come out roll and against the shooter. To make this wager you place your chips anywhere within the don't Pass Line area of the layout. Come Bets These bets are made after the come out roll and on the shooter. To make this wager you place your chips anywhere within the Come area of the layout. Don't Come Bets These bets are made after the come out roll and against the shooter. To make this wager you place your chips anywhere within the Don't Come area of the layout. These wagers are decided on the next roll of the dice, the next roll decides if you win or lose. Field Bets are popular because seven outcomes will win (2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12) can win, while only four (5, 6, 7 or 8) can lose. Any Seven Bets are made when you bet the next roll will be a 7. Any Craps Bets are made when you bet the next roll will be a 2, 3 or 12. Two Bets are for the next roll to be a 2. Twelve Bets are for the next roll to be a 12. Three Bets are for the next roll to be a 3. Eleven Bets are for the next roll to be an 11. Horn Bet is made when you are betting that a 2, 3, 11 or 12 will show on the next roll. All of these bets are made through the stickman, except for the Field bet which you can place for yourself
